Current Status — Closed Beta: MyNikkahOnline is currently operating in a free, closed beta phase. No payments are being collected. All features are available at no cost during this period. This refund policy will come into force when paid subscriptions are activated upon commercial launch.
MyNikkahOnline is a matrimonial matchmaking intermediary utility operating as a digital platform. This policy governs all payment transactions made through our platform once the paid subscription tiers are activated.
1. Beta Phase — No Charges Apply
During the current closed beta / demonstration phase:
- No subscription fees, membership fees, or premium charges are collected
- All platform features are available free of charge
- No payment information is required or stored
- This refund policy is published for transparency and payment gateway compliance only
2. Subscription Plans (Post-Commercial Launch)
Once paid plans are activated, the following terms will apply:
2.1 No Refund Policy
All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or in the specific circumstances described below. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that:
- Digital access to the platform is granted immediately upon payment
- Matrimonial introductions and profile access are provided from the moment of activation
- The nature of the service means it cannot be "returned" once accessed
2.2 Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Considered
We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment: If your account was charged twice for the same subscription period
- Technical failure: If payment was deducted but subscription was not activated due to a verifiable platform error
- Account suspension before access: If your account was suspended before you could access any premium feature, and the suspension was due to a platform error (not a policy violation)
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date. Requests submitted after this period will not be entertained.
2.3 Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period
- You retain access to premium features until the end of your paid subscription period
- Auto-renewal can be disabled at any time before the renewal date
3. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, email us at:

- Include: Transaction ID, payment date, amount, and reason for refund
We acknowledge all refund requests within 36 business hours and resolve eligible cases within 15 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days (subject to bank processing time).
4. Payment Gateway Terms
Payments on MyNikkahOnline are processed through Razorpay (for INR transactions) and Stripe (for international/NRI transactions). By making a payment, you also agree to their respective terms:

In case of payment disputes, you may also raise a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. However, we request that you contact us first to resolve the issue amicably.
5. GST & Taxation
All subscription prices are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the rate applicable to digital services (currently 18%). A GST invoice will be provided for all paid transactions once commercial launch is active.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from payment transactions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
